Characteristics:

At around 22 grams, the Super Stop is an absolute lightweight among rubbers. The top sheet is only slightly roughened and very thin. In terms of color, the Anti-Top's black-grey topsheet is the opposite of the sponge, which is bright yellow in color. Both the top sheet and the sponge are classified as rather hard.
The Super Stop is available in sponge thicknesses of 1.5 mm and 1.9 mm.

For the anti-top beginner:

Due to its slightly roughened, hard upper rubber, the Super Stop is very well suited for starting with an anti-top. It is much more controlled to play than a smooth anti-top.

This is how the Super Stop plays:

The Super Stop takes all of the ball's rotation away.
You will experience unparalleled control while playing thanks to the slow, slightly grippy anti-top. The rotation is completely neutralized and passive balls can be played extremely safely.
If you aggressively jab the ball across the table, the Super Stop will also develop a strong spin. The opponent's cut is simply taken over and reinforced by small, quick movements in the forearm. Due to its moderate speed, it is no problem for the Antitop to return powerful shots in a controlled manner. The ball then flies to the opponent's side with a very flat curve. In addition, the Super-Stop manages to play the ball halfway to your opponent's half of the table, making it difficult for them to attack the ball fully.
In attacking play, pressing the ball against the backspin and especially side sweeps are very dangerous.

Sebastian's tip:

Even if you haven't played with an antitop before, it's worth taking a closer look at the Sauer & Tröger Super-Stop and testing it. Especially if you don't feel safe enough playing with long pimples or smooth antitops and you make slight mistakes, then the Super-Stop is a real insider tip.

Conclusion:

If you have previously had problems with your opponent's serve or topspin, then the Super Stop is just the right rubber for you. Your balls will no longer fly across the table and any rotation will be eliminated.

schon wieder....einer der kein Tischtennis spielen kann

Das muss ich mir leider öfters anhören, weil ich den Belag auf der Rückhand spiele. Bin halt "Schnittblind". Aber es macht Spaß. Bis dato den 1.9 mm gespielt. Probiere nun einmal den 1.5 mm. Erhoffe mir davon noch mehr Offensivaktionen. Denke das man einen Anti ja nicht nur deffensiv spielen muss.

Gut zu spielen

As advertised. More disruptive and faster than most classic antitop rubbers. Easier to control than frictionless antitop. Best antitop I have tried for all-around attacking and defensive play, even hitting vs topspin with my forehand. I use mostly forehand but some backhand. Other rubber is National red 37 degree Hurricane 3 to maximize spin difference between Super Stop and inverted. I prefer the additional speed and disruption from 1.5 mm sponge.
